THENS, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Six people were arrested after 39 kilograms of methamphetamine were seized in a raid, according to the Athens-Clarke County Police Department.
Police said the drugs were seized from two mobile home communities in Athens. Police raided homes at Hallmark community on Spring Valley Road and Pinewood Estates North park on US Highway 29 North.
Bryant McLaughlin, Sammy Fleming, Charles Armstrong, David Glaze, Edgar Garcia-Hernandez and Jose Macias-Garcia were charged with trafficking methamphetamine.
The investigation seized methamphetamine worth more than $340,000, a handgun and $32,000 in cash, according to police.
